Creating Space for Loss

Over six online sessions, Matilda Tonkin Wells, Dance Artist and Movement Psychotherapist, will guide you through an embodied exploration of how we can Create Space for Loss. We will use movement practices, meditation and other creative techniques to cultivate self-awareness and self-compassion in order to better understand and express the trauma of losing loved ones.
Through pausing to notice what we are feeling in our bodies, we can tune into our own personal emotional subtleties relating to death and dying. Although we will be moving, this is not a dance class, and all movement invitations will be offered with variations in order to make the group as accessible as possible. Each session will last approximately 60 minutes and will take place on Thursdays from 11am until 12pm from Thursday 20th May.
