Life, the Universe, and Everything
November 23, 2021 @ 11:00 – 12:00
The recent pandemic has forced many of us to reflect on some big questions. Starting on Monday 1st November, HAHAV will be running a series of informal discussions, open to all, to reflect on these bigger questions. Our first ‘compassionate café’ will be facilitated by Luke Conlon who will be encouraging us to think about ideas around life, loss and caring. Light refreshments, including Luke’s famous home-soup will be available.
November 1st is part of International Compassionate Communities Day, where lots of similar events and discussions will be taking place around the world. Aberystwyth will be representing Wales as part of this, so please come and join the global chat.
You don’t need to hold a formal religious belief or belong to established faith tradition to join in. We may cover some heavy themes but there will also be room for humour and lightness too. This is about exploring life questions and spirituality in the widest possible sense.
Our café on the 1st will be the start of a series of informal discussions throughout November; to register and for more information, please contact Susie on 01970 611 550, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The ‘Compassionate Café’ will be held at HAHAV’s Living Well Centre, Plas Antaron, Aberystwyth, 11.00am-1.00pm.
