I in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime. But with new research and treatments more people are surviving than ever before. Set up 10 years ago, Living Well with Cancer is a support group for those who have been diagnosed, may have started treatment or are in remission. The group is also open to anyone affected by cancer, carers, loved ones and friends. Everyone faces their journey, differently. Living with illness can be an isolating experience. Our living well group is about offering support and understanding. It’s also about getting on with life and living. We meet every first Tuesday of the month, between 10.30am-12.30 at HAHAV’s new living well centre, Plas Antaron in Aberystwyth. We run a programme of different events, activities, and visits.  

Some of the things we get up to include arts and craft workshops, walks in nature, visits to exhibitions and places of interest, relaxing yoga, Tai Chi and other de-stressing, complementary treatments. If you would like to join call Susie on 01970 611550
