Skylark Singers is a free choir for anyone in North Ceredigion who suffers from shortness of breath. This may be due to a lung condition, such as COPD, Bronchiectasis, Chronic Asthma, Long Covid, or may be due to a cardiac condition, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Anxiety, post-Covid breathlessness, or any other reason. The sessions begin with relaxation, stretches, body and voice warmups, some breathing exercises, and some voice exercises. They then sing simple songs, some with piano accompaniment, others acapella with harmony parts. The sessions end with a cup of tea and a chance to chat.
